1 . General

These terms and conditions apply to every action, treatment and transaction between Glow institute and a client to which Glow institute has declared these terms and conditions applicable, insofar as the parties have not expressly deviated from these terms and conditions in writing.

2. Efforts

Glow institute will carry out treatments to the best of its knowledge & ability and in accordance with the requirements of good craftsmanship, on the basis of the current known science at that time. Beauty salon Glow institute will inform the client as much as reasonably possible about the financial consequences of the change or addition to the treatment before it starts.

3. Quality & Satisfaction

Quality and customer satisfaction are paramount at Glow institute, Glow institute works according to the Code of the beautician. This code forms the industry standard for quality, hygienic work, working conditions and the environment for the benefit of practice, training and policy. The reason for drawing up this code is the advancing insights into working hygienically, the changes in working conditions and environmental legislation and the further need for quality assurance.

4. Appointments

Glow institute will notify clients of an appointment cancellation as soon as possible, but no later than 24 hours prior to the appointment, by telephone or email. The client is at all times responsible for complying with the agreement made. If you do not cancel in time, we are forced to charge half of the costs. In case of non-compliance with the appointment, we are forced to charge the full costs. If the client comes into practice more than ten minutes later than the agreed time, Glow institute may shorten the time lost on the treatment and still charge the full amount.

5. Payment

Glow institute lists all prices of treatments on its website and verbally communicates the standard prices of the treatment and products in the salon to the client. The reported prices include VAT. Promotions are valid for the specified duration and/or while stocks last. Immediately after the treatment, the client is required to pay for the treatment and any products by debit card or cash.

6 . Personal data & privacy

Before the first treatment, a client is required to provide Glow Institute with all requested information necessary for the execution of the treatments. Glow institute records the client's personal data in a client file. Glow institute treats the client's confidential data in accordance with the guidelines in the Personal Data Protection Act. Glow institute will not sell or rent data from the client to third parties without the prior written consent of the client. The e-mail address of the client is used by Glow institute to send a digital newsletter if desired.

 

7. Confidentiality

The beautician is obliged to maintain the confidentiality of all confidential information that the client has communicated during the treatment. Information is considered confidential if this has been communicated by the client or if this follows from the nature of the information. The confidentiality lapses if, on the basis of a legal provision or a court decision, Glow institute is obliged to provide the confidential information to third parties.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms and conditions will: (a) limit or exclude our of your liability for death of personal injury resulting from negligence, (b) limit or exclude our of your liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (c) limit any of our or your liabilities in any way that is not permitted under applicable Dutch law; (d) exclude any of our or your liabilities that may not be excluded under applicable Dutch law,

Glow institute is not liable for damage of any nature whatsoever, caused by the beautician relying on incorrect and/or incomplete information provided by the client about relevant physical disorders, use of medication, work or leisure activities. Glow institute is not liable for loss, theft or damage to personal property the client brought to the salon.

9. Damage & Theft

Glow institute has the right to claim compensation from the client if the client damages furniture, equipment or products. Glow institute will always reports theft to the police.

10. Complaints

If the client has a complaint about the treatment or a product, this must be reported to Glow institute in writing as soon as possible, within five working days after discovery. Glow institute must provide the complainant with an adequate answer within five working days. If a complaint is well-founded, Glow institute will perform the treatment again as agreed, unless this has become demonstrably pointless for the client and the client makes this known in writing. If Glow institute and the complainant cannot come to an agreement, the complainant can submit the dispute to the legislator or mediator.

11. Proper Conduct

The client should behave properly in the salon according to generally accepted standards. If the client continues to show improper behavior after repeated warnings, Glow institute has the right to refuse the client access to the salon, stating reasons.

12. Right

Dutch law applies to every agreement between Glow institute and the client. In the event of an explanation of the content and purport of these general terms and conditions, the Dutch text thereof is always decisive. The most recently filed version or the version as it applied at the time of the conclusion of the agreement always applies.
